Story of All Girls Meet-Up!

Standard

Akhir ladkiya krti kya h?” “Itni der tk kis baare me baat krti h?”  ” itna baat kr kaise leti h?” etc etc etc

If you are a boy then I am sure that this question must have popped in your head. Especially when your gf is out with her girl gang from past 5 hours and you have no clue of her.
So let me break it down for you guys in most simple words that they exactly do:

*** DISCLAIMER: This article is purely for entertainment purpose. The author does not intend to leak objectives of any girl group meeting. This is meant for education purpose and is the result of author’s observation. Every topic is linked to other. Audience is requested to relate their meet-up with their best girl friends ONLY.***

1-No fashion
Idk who spreads that girls just talk about fashion. NO! All girls meet up doesn’t mean that they will only talk about fashion. This topic only comes up if there’s has been some controversy related to clothes or they have bought something really out of the box and they want to flaunt in front of other girls.

Note: fashion bloggers are not included 😛

2-Gossip

“Aaah, what’s so new about that? We already know, girls gossip.”
Boys, I know that you know it. But trust me, the intensity or the feel of gossiping with the set of best girls is just the on the other level. Even the Sharma ji’s daughter would use a lot of inappropriate words! Most uncomfortable topics would be discussed. Laughing and howling would take place and lots and lots of food and drinks would be spilled everywhere.

You’d be like,”uhh, that’s us all the time.” So let me remind you about the ‘good-girl’ mask that they have to put on all the time. 🙂

'I hate idol gossip.'

3- Food
What goes best with gossip and best girl friends? Daah food and drinks (soft -drinks,mind you)! If there is good food, it means double fun. Food is like a tonic. Tonic that shows “socially desirable” side of the girl the back seat and let the BOSS come out. B)

'My first husband was strong as an ox.'

4- Exes and Current comes together

So if you think girls never think about their exes then my boy you are so wrong. Girls meet up is not just about laughing at others stupid decisions. It also includes remembering and cursing their exes too. Sometimes, thanking them for leaving as well!

When exes are discussed then it’s time for the current ! So there is this rule that “curse the ex and dissect the current.” So girls, for once can consider to go easy on their friend’s ex but the current can never, ever. So from their story to profile to timeline, everything is closely examined and then the verdict is given out.

5- Selfies

Come on, what’s a meet up when you can’t get the perfect picture for instagram 😉

Thank you My valiant soul for nominating me and giving me an opportunity to spread positive vibes. Everyone please check her blog and let her know how amazing she is!

The category for my today’s quote will be Patriotism :

Patriotism is your conviction that this country is superior to all other countries because you were born in it.

George Bernard Shaw(1856-1950) Irish writer.

There might be many countries superior to yours but instead of complaining, accept all the flaws and work to overcome them.

Who saves his country violates no law.

Napoleon I(1769-1821) Napoleon Bonaparte. French general.

Rules for the betterment should never be violated. They are made not only for the country but also for you too!

If yet your blood does not rage, then it is water that flows in your veins. For what is the flush of youth, if it is not of service to the motherland.

Chandra Shekhar Azad (freedom fighter,India)

Patriotism doesn’t need to be shown, it is a feeling that needs to be felt!

A battle should never be left unfought!

Standard

Realizations are always sudden! And during teen age we realize a hell lot of things! About life, society, people and more important about our-selves!

31525_20131109_143511_motivational02

So, one day you wake up and suddenly realize that the world, in which you have been living in was just an illusion, and this realization leaves you shocked! Like a giant wave that comes to your footsteps, looks into your eyes (everything normal and beautiful) and the moment you extend your hands for a warm welcome, it slaps you hard and drags you along. You are trying, struggling to not to get swiped away by using your arms, legs and lungs to the fullest. But everything seems waste. It’s like the wave has come with a motive, to get you drowned. To see you completely submerged in water. Sometimes no matter how much you think that you will swim out, all by yourself. But before fighting we consider our self a loser. But what we forget is that every problem has a solution. We forget that even water pushes you up a few times. It gives you fair chances to fight back. But to rescue yourself, you need to fight. We just need to have patience and keep working towards our goals. Everything will eventually fall in place!:)

That conversation about cancer, which pissed me off!

Standard

Why are social gatherings exciting?
Well for me, it’s an exciting opportunity. An opportunity to know new people and old people better. An opportunity to conduct a little poll about “who will win the coming elections”,works done by present government, etc.
So I was in this party, which was pale. Since, there was nothing for me to do, I took a seat. Soon a girl joined me. And then, as the universe’s rule, we were into talking. Though I have known that pretty girl since childhood as we were common guests at  uncountable parties, gatherings but I never got to know her. So we were into talks when we were joined by her brother. I don’t exactly remember to what she replied  to him saying “Cancer people are infectious, so stay away”.
I absolutely hated the way she, insensitively joked about cancer. And also confused because I could not decide if she was really stupid to call it “infectious” or I was missing the catch. So with a laugh, somewhat similar to Chandler’s office laugh, I clearly told that I am an idiot to not able to understand her.
She continued, “oh, cancer is an infectious disease, you know.” trying to explain me.
Me-(frustrated)” no, it’s not. And is he a cancer patient?”
She– “No, it’s a joke. And ,well there are so many kinds of cancer, koi to hoga hi”
Me– “It’s not like that, when cells divide uncontrollably….” I tried to clear her doubts when she interrupted. This time, trust me, I was terrified to hear her next words.
She– “Who cares about cancer?”

And boom!!!
I never come to conclusions with one incident. I had made myself happy thinking that she was stupid for not having basic knowledge about cancer and moreover she was an insensitive girl. But I was shocked that majority of people present there were equally clueless. Maybe they don’t know it because they never had to face it (touch wood) or maybe because it was not in one of their chapters or just chose to stay mumm, for god knows what reason. But today, our world is not confined to books. It’s way more beyond. There, in that party, everyone was digitally connected to the world. But they are more busy in themselves. In their virtual world. A world which did existed but was equal to not existing. A world all about their demands, their likes, dislikes, happiness, sorrows, hopes, etc. A world, all about them. Yes, that selfish, virtual world!

This world has actually made people selfish. People keep painting themselves in an image, which is completely  different from the real self, so that complete strangers can like them! We keep trying to please someone, who doesn’t stand anywhere in our lives.

Also,I believe that we, teens, aren’t using our privileges properly. We  are well facilitated and equipped with different mass medias and we have access to information more easily. So we have some responsibilities to others, as well. I agree that we can’t  mug up gigantic books and be Mr-know-it-all. Even Jack couldn’t master all. You only need to be curious. Curious about the world around, the happenings, the issues concerning others, like you are about the girl or the guy next door, about knowing the income of any other person or the marks of that famous Sharmaji’s son!

Be a responsible and sensible person. Use your powers wisely. Don’t keep blaming the education system, school authorities etc. because everything can’t be taught. Knowledge can’t be fed, it has to be achieved or earned. Don’t be a fool. If you don’t know something, don’t be lazy and try to look it up. Because you never know when that out of course knowledge turns out to be helpful. Keep educating yourself and break the walls of common myths about diseases. Patients already suffers a lot, don’t make their living more terrible! They have more to deal with than your stupid misconceptions!

Hope

Standard

I just read one of the quote which was sent to me by a dear friend which said “One thing that is more important than Oxygen, Heart beat or even love is HoPe”
But I go with ~Robert G. Ingersoll, who said that
“Hope is the only universal liar who never loses his reputation for veracity. ”
It’s not  because of all the Negativity that’s in my head but he is actually true and makes sense. Hope make us careless. We don’t accept the reality and keep hoping for something that will never happen and with this hope we spend our lives. In the end we are dissatisfied and discontent!  Isn’t it?

ENGLISH: matter of status!

Standard

Warning: This post consist of writer’s personal thoughts, who is just wishing to share and know your opinion. No sentence intends to hurt anyone with any language(especially to English speakers).

I live in a country called India, which has 22 official languages and according to Census of India, the total number of mother tongues spoken here is 1652 and that’s the reason why we don’t have a national language. I know this must have came like “What!” even to many Indians too. But it’s true, Hindi is Rajya Bhasha not Rashtriya Bhasha! This wide difference is the beauty. A nation, comprises of 29 states and 7 union territories have their respective languages and their people are proud of it BUT somehow the language English has outshone others. Today people measure other’s level of intelligence with the number of english words they use in a sentence. The more number of English words used, the more educated he is! English language was chosen by our constitution as associate official language to avoid confusion among people who have different languages as majority of them, irrelevant of their birthplace & mother tongue, could understand English. After all they ruled on us for 200 years and that was uniform throughout! So that, they can converse properly but this language should not be imposed on anyone. I am not denying the importance of English in our country but if two people are comfortable in their own tongues then why this extra pressure of “have to speak two English words”. Why this show off? Why can’t we feel proud on our own language?  Why can’t we be confident about our mother tounge? Why the shame to speak our tongue in front of four people? Every Indian should ponder over these questions.

ps: going extreme with your language is also no option. I mean, killing others because they don’t speak your language is so dumb act. If all have to admit that except English, kaam nahi banne wala hai, but apni bhasha ko thodi izzat to deni chahiye na. This is our responsibility to stop our cultures and languages from extinction. These are our roots, our treasure that we have inherited from previous generations, we should protect it! 🙂
